AmericanSteel serves as a valued extension to one of Northeast Iowa’s most respected metal fabricators.

Established in 2014 as a collaborating branch of Beal’s Sheet Metal in Waterloo, American Steel specializes in custom fabrication and welding solutions. We view ourselves as a focused continuation of an experienced and professional fabrication group. Together, we’re a diverse operation capable of handling so much more than your basic sheet metal needs.

In response to a growing customer base, the best aspects of Beal’s Sheet Metal were separated and then recombined to form two specialized facilities. This adjustment provided room for growth, better reflected our vast capabilities, and ultimately created a more advanced and efficient operation for our customers.

American Steel is relatively new and unknown in the area, but is rooted to over 30 years of industry experience. We’re positioned across the street from Beal’s, but we remain committed to the foundation of core values that has made our operation what it is today.

We remain committed to serving projects of all shapes and sizes, providing clients with quality products, treating them with respect, and ensuring their long-term success. American Steel specializes in welding and heavier metal fabrication, but is fully capable of handling all aspects of production. We work hard to form custom solutions specific to each of our customer’s needs and objectives.
